DIDGERIDOO.DIVERSIONS is the first solo album by James E. Cunningham.
Conceptually, it is an experimental exploration of the unique sonic qualities of the
didgeridoo. Compositions within this collection consist of melodies created from the
focused isolation of harmonics or by simultaneously singing and playing. Other works
involve acoustic interactions between the didgeridoo, Western instruments, and the
sounds of nature. The hand-carved red cedar and bamboo didgeridoos used in the
recordings were both constructed by James E. Cunningham. The  "Dreamtime "
agave
didgeridoo was made by Allan Shockley of Tucson, Arizona.
