JGMP: DIDGERIDOO GALLERY
DIDGERIDOO BUYING GUIDE
The Didgeridoo Gallery Didgeridoo Buying Guide
Over the years of selling didgeridoos I have found there are many questions that are commonly asked from many
people trying to find the perfect didgeridoo for themselves or giving it as a gift to someone. So I have put together this
informational page to help you out in your didgeridoo quest.
Since each didgeridoo is as unique as the tree it was made from please remember there are always exceptions
to the answers
I will be giving here.

Common first time players & or gift buyers questions.

  • What is the right size?

  • Usually an instrument between about 4 feet and 5 feet in length is a standard size didgeridoo. Anything
smaller or larger maybe a challenge for a first time player. But there are always exceptions!

  • What is the best choice of tone?

  • Seems the sweet spot of didgeridoo drone tones are C, C# and D. But quite frankly anything between B
and F are pretty common. Also, your choice of tone maybe best answered with the next question to ask
    yourself.

  • Will this instrument be used in a musical ensemble, music therapy application or for solo
    personal enjoyment & display?

  • Depending on your answer to this question it may dictate a particular tone that you must have. I'm a
musician & teacher of music so please advise if you are looking for a particular drone tone.

  • If it's for solo, personal enjoyment and you don't have musical experience. I'd usually say don't worry
about it. Most of the didgeridoos I sell are beginner friendly with some exceptions. Check out the sound
clips and see what appeals to you for sound or in your own words let me know if you are seeking
    anything special.

  • How long does an order process & ship?

  • Processing of in stock orders is very fast. Usually within 24 hours your item(s) are packed up and are
on their way. I ship every business day and if schedule permits items may even ship on weekends.

  • Do you need John to help you pick out a didgeridoo from the gallery selection?
