The play along two CD set for didgeridoo players features backing tracks from John Groves album Didj Cacophony. Mr. Groves didgeridoo students are always looking for additional material for practice and skills development. These tracks should provide one with the chance to experiment with different rhythm ideas, explore harmonies, toots and get a full work out. No ability level restrictions, you could simply drone or go for more complex passages. It’s your choice! The backing tracks provide new age, ambient, dance and world groove stylings to work with. Tunings of the tracks are in six common tunings for didgeridoo including C, C# (Db), D, (D#) Eb, E and F. Not sure if your instrument will work, no worries experiment and see what fits best for your ears as different combinations of tones will create additional unique harmonies to explore. |
